Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)      

  After I purchased cured eggs how do I store them? Either freeze or keep in refrigeration for up to 30 days. Frozen in a sealed jar up to a year or more. You should not freeze and thaw more than 2 times.  
 

Do you offer other bait besides salmon eggs? Yes we do. We offer all different types of fishing bait. Here are few that are on the list we carry.

 
  Pickled Fishing Bait
Pickled Sturgeon Candy pickled products are available as
Herring, Sand Shrimp, Shad, anchovies, Smelt, and Squid.
 
Frozen Fishing Bait
Anchovies, clams, Coon Shrimp, Crawfish, Herring comes in different color, Prawns, Sardines whole and fillets, Shad, Octopus, mackerel whole and fillets, Smelt, and Squid to named a few.
 

Cured Fishing Bait
Prawns, Coon shrimp, Prawn Tails, Sand Shrimp these come in different colors too.

  Any discounts for larger orders? We do give discounts. The best way for the average guy to save is to buy cured/Uncured eggs in bulk! This saves me time and material in packaging which I will pass those savings along to the customer.  It will be a custom order so you will need to contact me via phone or e-mail.  
Can we order fresh salmon eggs online? You will need to fill out the order form under the contact page which is best, Also you can call. Have questions feel free to contact Xtreme Northwest Bait directly! 541-981-4449 Fresh eggs are seasonal.  Salmon: May- November, Steelhead: November-February and availability is day to day.
Do you sell single eggs? Sometime when we get them! All the fish we get eggs from are food grade so the eggs tend to be mostly in skein. Call or e-mail for availability on singles!!
 

How do I pay? If you are picking up product in person you can pay in person.  For products ordered that are needed to be shipped u need to fill out the order form, after you fill out the order form, I will send you an invoice to your email address given. On that invoice there is a place to click which say (Click the button below to pay the invoice.) This will take you to the PayPal website. In the future, you will be able to order products online by clicking the buy now button. Some chose to send a check or money order which is also fine. We ship when it arrives or payment clears!

 
  How do you ship cured eggs? We use FedEx or UPS.  Most cost efficient ways in Oregon, Washington and California is Ground which is two or next day delivery. All other States are three day rate. Other options are available but tend to cost more.  I have a special way when I pack the shipment to make sure your products will stay cool or frozen. Contact or e-mail us if you have questions.  
 

How do you ship uncured eggs? Alaska Airlines Cargo is the best for fresh bulk orders. Most of the time they are shipped frozen using UPS and FedEx. During the fresh egg season May-February. Contact or e-mail us if you have questions.

 
  What are your store hours? Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time Call to make sure were there, lot of time we are gone picking up products or on delivery.  After Hours call and leave message or send E-Mail. I check those every morning!!  
  What type of cure do you use? Cure-All Bait Cures (Kendaco  Formula) a Sulfite based with a combination of dyes  and proprietary blend of bite stimulants. We can also custom cure for those that wish something different.   
  Where do your eggs come from? Processors and Hatchery surplus in Oregon, Washington and Alaska.
